What an amazing experience! Catherine and her crew run a great operation. Clean rooms, bathrooms, etc. Being surrounded by all of the animals on the farm really put it over the top. My girlfriend and I came from the Bay Area, so this really was a trip to get away from the noise and chaos of our urban existence. The farm did not disappoint. Waking up to the call of a rooster every morning was awesome. Being able to interact with some of the animals was a real treat. The silence at night...Wow! And the star gazing. We were lucky enough to be there during a meteor event. Unreal! Do yourself a favor and make a trip to Reese Ranch. You won't be disappointed!
We rented out the entire ranch for our family of 19. The villa was the perfect place to prepare meals and the living area was a huge space. We utilized everything. Goat yoga was fun for all ages, 4-62, everyone participated. We all enjoyed picking out a stuffed farm animal to make and take home. Catherine was a fantastic host and went above and beyond. The communication was great before and during our visit. She made unforgettable memories for us all. We loved the entire trip and can’t wait to return.
We truly enjoyed our time at the Reese Ranch Retreat last Sunday morning. The Reese Ranch Retreat was a joyous, unique, and magical experience for our little family. We took our toddler with us to the Reese Ranch Retreat, and she really adored all the variety of farm animals on this ranch. We got to meet, pet, cuddle, and feed baby goats, cows, horses, chickens, and donkeys! Our tour guide, Amanda was absolutely wonderful, patient, and super sweet to us. We all had a spectacular time at the Reese Ranch Retreat. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RANCH TO EVERYONE VISITING LAKE COUNTY, CA. AND TO EVERYONE WHO RESIDES IN LAKE COUNTY, CA.
Our stay at Reese Ranch Retreat was wonderful! The Villa was very cozy and our kids absolutely loved all the animals on the farm. From collecting chicken eggs and feeding goats, to petting horses and playing with the adorable kitty Tripod, the whole trip was magical. Catherine and Jimmy couldn't have been sweeter, and it's clear they take pride in people having a great time at the Ranch. Highly recommend for anyone looking looking for a fun and unique getaway set in the peace and tranquility of the countryside. 5 stars!!
The owner has changed on 2023/08. You could book for vacation on airbnb. It’s a dog friendly ranch! You could bring your pooch here to have fun. It’s a no kill ranch so all animals enjoy their lives here. My dog loves chasing goats so we have to hold her really tight to ensure she doesn’t hurt them. Owner is friendly. She invited us for star gazing (with her super telescope), and we also visited her parrots (1 of her beautiful bird has bad temperament so stay away from that bird). Make sure book her sing bowl yoga experience! It’s a good relaxation.
What an amazing time! We took 60 elementary students to Reese Ranch for a field trip. Students were split into groups to tour the ranch. They were able to pet and feed the animals. At the end of our trip each student was able to make their own stuffed farm animal! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating for our large group. The entire ranch was beautiful and well taken care of. We will definitely go again!
We took a little trip to the Ranch. My grandchildren had a fabulous visit with all the fun interaction with the farm animals. We talked about all the animals by name ,even the goats all have names, on our drive home. This is a quaint and beautiful setting. Myself, mother and daughter in law enjoyed as much as the littles. Our tour guide was informative and ever so sweet and patient. The stuffed animal was a fun ending to the visit. Will surely go back. Very fun yet peaceful trip! Thank you Reese Ranch for your amazing hospitality!
We had a wonderful animal experience at the Reese Ranch. Our guide was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and patient. We’re excited to keep visiting with friends as a fun afternoon adventure. The horses and zebra were SO FRIENDLY and so happy to have visitors, I completely fell in love!!
